As we look forward to the 2010-2011 school year, we continue to be very proud of our accomplishments and many wonderful and exciting challenges. Our students will have to continue to dedicate the time and energy that will be needed in order to succeed at the highest levels possible in their academic, athletic, altruistic and artistic pursuits. Parents and faculty will have to create, renew and strengthen their relationships. The school will have to strive to ensure that we offer the best instruction possible. Everyone associated with Gastonville Elementary is very proud of the academic success of our students. This can be attributed to the hard work of our students, parents, teachers, support staff, administrators, and community members who strive to provide the best service possible. We provide a comprehensive curriculum that meets the needs of our children regardless of what those needs are. The support of our parents is exemplary. Given the quality of our community, staff, and on-going commitments to excellence, Gastonville Elementary Center offers an outstanding educational opportunity for our students. We have a long tradition of educational excellence. We continue to develop and retain an exceptional professional staff. As we strive to ensure that Gastonville Elementary Center residents remain proud of the quality of their school system, we continue to receive accolades in many areas. As always, we are committed to satisfying each child’s individual needs and watching them reach their goals. Throughout the school year, you will see the many reasons that we continue to have great pride in the remarkable accomplishments which our students, faculty, and District have achieved from various sources. We have learned that education is a joint venture between the home and the school. We look forward to another year of working together to enable our students to achieve their highest potential. We need and value your support. We encourage parents to participate in many activities offered through your child’s classroom and school. There are also many opportunities for parents to shape the direction of the school and district through participation at the classroom, building, or one of the many Board of Education committees. With your help and support, we look forward to accomplishing these very important goals for the 2010-2011 school year in ways and with results that are better than ever for the sake of our most valuable resource---children.
